Dear Bosconian Parents,

Greetings through St. John
Bosco’s dream!

Thank you for being with us
this school year amidst the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. We
know that there have been a lot of questions in your mind regarding the
processes to formally close the school year 2019–2020 and the preparations and
plans of the school for the upcoming school year.

Allow us to shed light to your
questions and discuss important points to assist you and somehow ease your
unsettled minds.

During the past weeks, the
Salesians and our Management Team have been consistently meeting to discuss and
plan out our preparations for the next year school year. This is to assure you
that we are working hard to finish and settle all the necessary things to close
the school year 2019–2020 for us to move forward to the next school year.

As we wrap this school year up
and look forward for the coming school year, we would like to inform you of the
following important dates and processes:

CARD DAY & DOCUMENT
PROCESSING

We will officially release the
students’ card upon enrollment and schedule a separate card day and document
processing for our Grade 12 students.

ENROLLMENT

DBTI will be venturing into
both online and on-site enrollment for all students: old and new.

On-line enrollment will be
carried through our official website while on-site enrollment will be done as
scheduled for each grade level. We will not anymore conduct
entrance examination for incoming Bosconians but interview for the new students
will continue through alternative modes of communication to be facilitated by
our Guidance Office. We will be posting the
processes and guidelines for both online and on-site enrollment on our official
facebook page.

FEES

As of now, we are still
finalizing the adjustments of our school fees for the next school year. We
understand your situation and thus, for the incoming school year, we will be accepting
Php 3,000.00 as payment upon enrollment. The remaining balance will be paid
depending on your chosen scheme.

Please take note that you need
to settle your accounts before we release the students’ documents.

OPENING OF CLASSES

The official date of the
opening of classes for school year 2020–2021 will be announced once our
proposal is approved by the DepEd Regional Office.

ALTERNATIVE MODES OF LEARNING

Considering the realities that
our educators, parents, and learners are facing, DBTI-Victorias will provide
multiple modes of learning that best suits the interest and capacity of every
Bosconian; may it be online or offline or a combination of both. Thus, we move
towards alternative modes of learning to address the need for continuous
learning of all Bosconians amidst this pandemic.

As we journey towards the ‘new
normal’, we assure you that the Salesians together with the faculty and staff
of DBTI will continuously work on all feasible solutions to the challenges that
looms before us. As our partners in educating the young, we humbly ask for your
support and understanding as we plan and carry out our initiatives. These plans
are all subject to improvement and revisions for us to keep up with the new and
possible demands that might arise given our current situation. As of now, these
directives are set to guide us in closing the school year and prepare us for
the opening of the new one.

We shall continue to provide
you with updates in the coming weeks through our official facebook page.

Our prayers and blessings!
